MADISON INVESTMENT COMPANY LTD (MICL)

MICL is the investment wing of the LSA Group of Companies. Established in January 2005, MICL's overall strategic objective is focused on assisting LSA position itself for diversification.

The strategic options are to identify investment opportunities across economic sectors, closing in on those that promise good and sustainable returns.

The investment strategy has, as its primary focus, the extension of the Group's competitive scope by offering products that ensure continued value-creation, earnings enhancement and that in the final analysis, translate into better profitability for the group.

MICL aims to improve the group's portfolio:

Helping to achieve market share growth.
Helping to strengthen the competitive position of existing businesses, including securing exclusivity of insurance premiums for the group's insurance business.

By doing so, MICL will assist LSA serve the general public including staff, better.

The group is actively involved in tourism through MICL's investment in Consolidated Tourism Investments (CTI) and fully owns Kafue River Cliff. The LSA Group continues to invest in the Zambian tourism industry.
