MADISON ASSET MANAGEMENT COMPANY LIMITED

Madison Asset Management Company Limited (MAMco) started operations in January 2008 and manages approximately US$60.0 million of assets mainly on behalf of group companies. The Company draws its experience in asset management from the group’s operations in the Pension and Insurance industry in Zambia for the last 16 years in which it has actively been participating in the money market, capital market and real estate market. In addition, MAMco has a partnership agreement with Investment Professionals Limited (iPRO), an international fund manager operating out of Botswana and Mauritius which has given the Company access to international funds.

MAMco is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission to provide asset management services and has recently set up Madison Unit Trust Fund. The Unit Trust fund invests in the money market, real estate and listed equities. The Company is also in the process of setting up a stock broking business unit. This will allow MAMco to provide clients with a one stop shop for all investment services.

MAMco invests in real estate, corporate bonds, government securities and capital markets. Through the strategic relationship with iPRO the Company is able to access markets outside Zambia.

Stock broking

Stock broking services will include execution, advisory and discretionary dealing.
